It didn't take long for Sega to follow up its Jet Set Radio HD teaser with a proper trailer, showing off the game in motion and in all of its slick, high-definition glory. From the audio in the trailer, my fears about Sega retaining the license for the soundtrack were unfounded.
More on the trailer for the rollerblading-est game ever made after the jump.
The trailer is being hosted at Games Radar, so head on over to their site to check it out now and come back for a little commentary.
Got a good look? Great. And that's more or less my impression of the game footage based on the little bit under a minute that Games Radar and Sega are showing off here. The Dreamcast-era title looks better than it ever has, some of the animations coming off as more fluid than I recall from the initial release. An interesting effect that I didn't recall until seeing the trailer is how deliberately flat the characters are as opposed to 2D with slight hints of depth through shading. In any event, it's a great look that's still unmatched by anything else available right now.
Jet Set Radio HD will be available on PSN and XBLA sometime this summer.
